Vicente”Dongkoy”
Yap Emano was born in Sta. Ana,
Tagaloan, Misamis Oriental on
March 31, 1943 to Anastascio
Casino Emano, Sr. and Erasma
Yap.
Now
residing at Tagaloan, Misamis
Oriental, Sta. Cecelia
Subdivsion Subdivision, Gusa,
Cagayan de Oro City with his
wife Alona Beja Emano along with
their children Nenotchka Erasma,
Natasha, Yevgeny Vincent, and
Nadya.
Dedicated
public servant committed in
promoting and safeguarding the
general welfare and well being
of the poor and the downtrodden.
Ho
was elected as Municipal Mayor
of Tagaloan, Misamis Oriental on
May 1980 to 1985. He was
appointed as OIC-Governor of
Misamis Occidental on March 3,
1986 and was elected into the
same position for three terms.
Judicious
and strict disciplinarian where
righteousness, honesty and
morality in the Public Service
are concerned.
He
ran and won as City Mayor of
Cagayan de Oro City and was
re-elected last May 14 in the
same position.
